Barton South Communications

Lauren South, Co-Founder of Barton South Communications, has over 20 years of marketing, public relations and advertising experience that spans the following industries: consumer packaged goods, nonprofits, fast food and franchising, banking, fashion, beauty, commercial real estate and healthcare. 

Her experience includes work for national brands including Cover Girl, McDonald's, Ronald McDonald House Charities, Dunkin' Donuts, PNC Bank and Kellogg's, and healthcare clients Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation and St. Vincent's Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Lauren's diverse career history has given her a unique insight into the marketing and communications world.  She learned directly from the industry experts during her time spent at renowned agencies Marina Maher Communications, Arnold Worldwide, Cone, Inc. and Draft Worldwide.  She also had great exposure to the media side of the business while working for USA TODAY and USATODAY.com. These jobs exposed her to all aspects of the field, including how to successfully position a brand, how to manage a crisis and the art of staging and executing a publicity event.  

Lauren graduated from Boston College with a B.A. in English and a minor in Communications.  Her love of travel took her around the world, but in the end, she chose Wayne, PA as her home.  She lives there with her husband and two daughters.
