Amanda Barton, Co-Founder of Barton South Communications, comes from a strong communications background beginning her career in New York City for fashion giants like GUESS?, Nautica and Aeropostale and later, at multmedia retailer, QVC. Throughout her PR experience, she has worked with a bevy of notable celebrities (ask her to tell you some good stories worthy of the gossip rags) and planned everything from star-studded Hollywood events to small store openings. Known as the go-to copywriting girl, she can write creative and compelling copy quickly and efficiently. She still savors the thrill of seeing her words come to life!

She and Lauren began Barton South Communications in 2011 bringing their expertise together to create savvy PR programs and writing marketing copy and website content for clients in the advertising, beauty, fashion, real estate and restaurant businesses. The business has evolved and today, Barton South handles the marketing needs of business, established and just starting out. 

Amanda earned her B.A. in English from George Washington University with a minor in French. A city girl at heart, she made the move to the burbs to raise a family and came to realize suburbia is not all that bad. She currently resides in Berwyn, PA with her husband, two sons, a daughter, and their dog, Petey.
